Moonbase Alpha Wallpaper Tiles

Here is just what every fan of Space: 1999 needs for their Windows PC.  These tiles will give your computer the appearance of Moonbase Alpha.  Your wallpaper becomes a wall complete with those distinctive inset panels with the rounded corners.  This package (a self-extracting EXE file) includes the following files:

ALPHA-W.BMP (white) (as featured on this webpage)
ALPHA-B.BMP (blue)
ALPHA-G.BMP (green)
ALPHA-R.BMP (red)
ALPHA-Y.BMP (yellow)

ALPHA-W is intended for full-power conditions.  ALPHA-B, G, R, and Y are for those tense, low-power situations when the illumination is subdued, and the lighting man has put colored gels on the back-light of each panel for that really neat, moody effect.

This is freeware, and is distributable without condition.  But this was mostly done for all the swell folks at the Space: 1999 mail list.

Addendum: Alpha Tiles for use with the Windows "3-D Maze" screen saver

It later occurred to me that since the walls, ceiling, and floors of the old Windows "3-D Maze" screen saver are customizable with any BMP, I could adapt my existing Alpha Tiles for this purpose. I have now added seven new files to this package:

Alpha maze - lit.bmp
Alpha maze - unlit.bmp
Alpha maze - floor.bmp
Alpha maze - blue.bmp
Alpha maze - green.bmp
Alpha maze - red.bmp
Alpha maze - yellow.bmp

Illuminated walls	Illuminated ceilings
Full illumination	Psychedelic

Feel free to experiment with different combinations. The scheme which looks the most accurate to me is lit walls, unlit ceiling, and floor for the floor.
